Van Isle Vertical Farms is excited to grow fresh, local, nutritious produce year-round for our Oceanside and Nanaimo customers using our vertical, aeroponic tower farm system.
Our innovative, vertical, aeroponic, tower farm system:
* reduces land use by 95% and eliminates many of the harmful impacts of traditional agriculture
* reduces water usage by 90%
* we only grow non-GMO produce that is chemical-free and pesticide-free
* we use top quality certified organic seeds whenever possible
* we employ local growers and most of our suppliers are also local, which helps build a stronger, local economy
* we are working to reduce hunger in our community and increase local food security; we contribute to Nanaimo Foodshare’s Good Food Box system as part of that goal
