Welcome

vertical farms with various crops

Van Isle Vertical Farms is excited to use its vertical, aeroponic tower farm system to grow fresh, local, nutritious produce year-round for its Oceanside and Nanaimo customers.

Our innovative, vertical, aeroponic, tower farm system:

  • Reduces land use by 95% and eliminates many of the harmful impacts of traditional agriculture
  • reduces water usage by 90%; we only grow non-GMO produce that is chemical-free and pesticide-free—
  • We use top-quality certified organic seeds whenever possible
  • We employ local growers, and most of our suppliers are also local, which helps build a stronger local economy
  • We are working to reduce hunger in our community and increase local food security;
  • We contribute to Nanaimo Foodshare’s Good Food Box system as part of that goal
